● Cognitive questions: Children ask these questions when they are curious about themselves and some various activities. The questions given above are examples of cognitive questions. 

● Social questions: The purpose of these questions is to interact or to draw attention and make contact. It is asked when the child wants to know something about the other children or when they play games. 

● Operational questions: These are the questions they ask when they want to ask permission or request help.

Whatever kind of question they would ask, it boils down to one thing: a child's curiosity should be answered as much as possible. This is because when a child is barred from asking questions, they are stopped from solving problems on their own and exploring the potential skills that they have. When a child's question is not addressed or is given a shot, he might lose that sense of comfort towards the person being asked. It is indeed not always easy to answer their question but trying our best to quench their thirst for knowledge helps them build trust and confidence in people.
